How long does ceramic coating take and how long does it last?
Ceramic coating takes an average of 1 to 2 days depending on the size of your vehicle and the condition of the paint surface. A large part of this time is the perfecting of the surface with Meguiar’s products (scratch and hologram removal) and the curing stage of the ceramic. When correct washing conditions are provided, the Meguiar’s ceramic coatings we apply continue to protect your vehicle for years.
Does removing PPF damage my car’s original paint?
Absolutely not. The first-class, TPU-based PPF coatings applied at DetailXperts are specially produced to protect your car’s paint. When you want the film removed in later years, it is heated and removed by our professional team; it leaves no adhesive residue and does not damage the original factory paint in any way.
What is the difference between classic paint protection (wax) and ceramic coating?
Paint protection (wax) quickly gives your car deep gloss and water repellency, lasting an average of 3–6 months. Ceramic coating, thanks to nanotechnology, bonds with the paint at a molecular level to form a hard, glass-like shield. It provides a much higher level of resistance to fine scratching, bird droppings and chemicals, and lasts for years when regular surface maintenance is carried out.
How can I be sure the products used are genuine Meguiar’s?

All compounds, polishes, paint protection and cleaning chemicals used at our application centres (excluding window film and PPF applications) are 100% genuine Meguiar’s products under direct distributor guarantee.
Will my seats stay wet after detailed interior cleaning?
No, we deliver your vehicle completely dry. After deeply extracting the dirty water from the seats and floor carpets with our professional vacuum cleaning machines, we completely eliminate the moisture inside the vehicle with our special drying systems. You will not experience any risk of bad odour or mildew.
How should I wash my car after ceramic coating or PPF?
To maximise the life of the applications, you should stay away from automatic washes with brushes and from highly acidic or caustic shampoos used by unlicensed washers. We recommend that you wash your car brush-free with pH-balanced shampoos and microfibre mitts — preferably with our Premium Wash service at DetailXperts centres, or with Meguiar’s shampoos.
Does window film pass the vehicle inspection?
The window films applied at our centre offer visibility quality in accordance with highway standards. Excluding the windscreen, standard-darkness films (grade 1, 2 or 3) applied to the side and rear windows pass the TÜVTÜRK vehicle inspection without problems, classified as “minor defect”.
